HOW INTERNET WORKS

Internet is a network that is in thousands of computers around the world. They are connected by copper wines, fibre optics, wireless connections and other methods.

The IP is the registration that appears when you connect to internet. If you dissconnect from Internet, the IP dissappears and when you connect to internet again, you have a different IP (it is provide by a router). There is another registration called MAC, that doesn't dissappear when you disconnect from internet (it is a physical registration). The DNS creates a link from IP directions. The URL is the direction that makes us the possibility to go to that website. The computers are communicating with each other following a common set of rules called a protocol. Ther server is an program that meets the requests of the monitor. The browser is a program used to display the contents of websites. We can search ibnofrmation on Internet by the search engine.
